The price of tomatoes has fluctuated significantly over the past year. After peaking at $3 per pound in July due to high demand and limited supply, prices dropped to $1.50 per pound by September as new harvests came to market. Looking ahead, analysts expect tomato prices to remain low through the winter months as supply remains stable.
